Most of us drink honey and lemon juice in lukewarm water in the morning. Both honey and lemon juice have natural healing properties. Honey and lemon juice have been used in natural medicine since ancient times. Most people find that it is better to take it in the morning.

Remember not to drink coffee or tea for at least an hour after drinking this mixture. Causes of gastric problems include acidity, inflammation of the stomach and inflammation of the heart. Some gastric causes can also be caused by viral infections, food poisoning, kidney stones, indigestion, tumours and ulcers.

In the same order it is also suggested that it is better to use lemon juice for temporary relief of gas problems. When a gas problem arises, do not take a lemon, cut it into pieces, extract the juice from it, add half a tablespoon of baking soda and a cup of water and drink it to get rid of the gas problem.
