Floods took away life of one person in Assam. Floods are heavy in Assam and the reason behind the death of the person is considered as unnoticed electric wires under the flood water. This incident occurred in Assam on Thursday morning.
As per the Police reports, the victim was electrocuted as he waded through knee-deep water-logged Zoo Road area around 7 a.m. on Thursday morning.
"A severed electric wire was lying there unnoticed and unattended. None knew about it as the entire road was submerged," said the locals.

School buses and private vehicles were stranded on the water-logged roads. Meanwhile, most of the arterial roads and service lanes remained submerged as incessant rains lashed the city from early Thursday morning. This is not the first incident, Assam already witnessed the death of 6 persons in , including a minor school student  deaths in a similar incident on June 13 due to over flash flood that had submerged the whole city. Two of them were school kids who died due to electrocution. Assam Government is not responding for this kind of electric issue.
