Modi meeting Trump : 5 HOURS to friendship

Narendra Modi is all set to meet United States president Donald Trump. Modi and Trump are going to meet for the first time on Monday 26 June at 3:30 pm, i.e., Tuesday 1 am IST and the entire evening followed by dinner and cock-tail reception. Trump and Modi have spoken twice over telephone after the former assumed office. Two leaders are going to spend nearly five hours to get to know each other and to build up a strong personal bond. This is for advancing a solid bilateral relationship. The US officials stated that, Modi and trump would be discussing on broad-ranging and seek to advance common priorities, including counter-terrorism, facilitating India's defence modernization, and helping advance India's role in Asia-Pacific.
The White house officials said, “A strong India is good for the United States. President Trump wants to build on that momentum.” Navtej Sarna, Indian Ambassador to the US said, “I am very confident that with new admin India-US engagement will only grow stronger and stronger.”As per the information, Both Modi and Trump will make a brief statement to the media about their talks that will be followed by a joint statement but they will not take questions from the media.
