Mumbai Surgeon Saves People's Hearts For Free

Have you ever heard about humanity? If yes, then you should know about Zainul Abedin Hamdulay. Zainul Hamdulay isn’t a man who superhero that you see in movies. He cannot climb buildings like superman or spiderman. But, he is truly a superstar. He has saved life of at least 150 poor people who cannot afford for treatment in last decade. Yes, Hamdulay is cardiac doctor who saves people’s hearts for free of cost. He has big heart and runs a charitable trust to help cardiac patients belonging to the economically weaker sections of our society and help them to get quality treatment for free of cost.
A bypass usually costs Rs2 lakh and an angiography costs around Rs15, 000. So Hamdulay’s organization has tied up with Milaap, India’s largest crowd funding site, to raise money so those below the poverty line can avail of treatment for free of cost. Zainul said, “I am planning to make a rural cardiac van that reaches the remotest villages around Mumbai and this would be like an awareness campaign for the villagers who have next to no knowledge about how to maintain a healthy heart.” He also added that, the van will be like a mobile hospital. This van tour is to change lives of those who do not have monetary and geographical access to good hospital. This cardiac van is designed in such a way that villagers can undergo test of any heart ailments, and also have a surgery inside it if there is a case that requires immediate treatment.
Doctor Hamdulay is attempting to raise Rs3.37 crore during the month of Ramzan . He aims for 100 bypass surgeries, 100 angioplasties, and 500 angiographies surgeries with the fund rose in the Ramzaan festive season.
