Palaniswami wins Tamil Nadu floor test with support from 122 MLAs

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami is seeking a confidence vote in Tamil Nadu Assembly. 


The House proceeding was adjourned after DMK MLAs gheroed Speaker P Dhanapal, broke chairs and mics and threw away the papers. 


The House proceeding, that had resumed at 1:00 pm with Speaker evicting DMK MLAs out of the assembly, has been adjourned till 3 pm. This happened after DMK MLAs went on the rampage again and broke Speaker's microphone for the second time.
