Hyderabad Feb 20 : Fans of "Quantico" might be in for disappointing news as it is likely that the show could be cancelled soon. The Cancel Bear, which happens to be website based tracking system for TV show ratings, has deemed that the show "Quantico" falls in the ‘likely to be cancelled’ category.According to the website,"Quantico," has a low viewership rating of 0.76. It was reported that n order to gather more viewship, the show was even moved to the Monday night slot, although it is now apparent that the move has not helped with an increase in viewership..

The resultant likelihood of this is that the show is said to be heading towards cancellation. The website also added that the show will probably not see a desired increase in it's current ratings as far as this season goes, and goes on to finally suggest that the channel ABC should cancel the show at the end of the current season.Furthermore, the show starring Priyanka Chopra, pulls in 2.8 million weekly viewers on average, and has received a 0.7 demo rating  for the current season, whch is almost a 40 percent nosedive from the average ratings of it's first season.

To give viewers an idea about how the show fares when compared to other shows, it is known that among ABC dramas, only "Conviction" happens to score a similarly low rating in terms of viewership, and so in all probability the show might not be renewed for Season 3. Upon analysis, there are a few reasons which are reported for the downfall. Showrunner Joshua Safran told TV Line that there were certain aspects of the show which were not working.

The flashbacks which were much loved initially, are apparently going to be removed. It is said that fans have grown tired of the repeated flashbacks, which were a hit initially as they provided a keen insight into the facts of the story, but the idea seems to have grown stale, and the plot seems to have diverged from providing action filled moments in the present scenario of the show.

It is also said that the continuos flashbacks could confuse fans with regards to the timeline of the series, and the writers too are having trouble integrating multiple timelines into the story.InUth reported that although a Bollywood star playing the lead role in an American series was an interesting revelation at first, the craze seems to have faded, and apparently Priyanka Chopra's popularity is fading slowly. "Quantico," which is currently in the middle of its second season, now fails to impress the audience.
