Rahul welcomes SC ruling on triple talaq

New Delhi, Aug 22 : Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday welcomed the Supreme Court's ruling on triple talaq."Welcome the Supreme Court decision setting aside instant Triple Talaq. I congratulate the women who fought for justice," said Gandhi on Twitter.The Supreme Court on Tuesday by a 3-2 decision struck down the centuries-old practice of instant triple talaq among Indian Muslims as unconstitutional, manifestly arbitrary and void in law.
