India and Pakistan Army trade heavy fire on LoC
National | IANS | Published :Jammu, Sep 27 : The Indian and Pakistan Army traded heavy fire on Wednesday on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
Police sources said Pakistan Army used mortars, small weapons and automatics to target at Indian positions in Shahpur and Balakote areas.
"Indian troops are effectively and strongly retaliating. Till last reports came in firing exchanges were going on between the two sides," police sources informed.
