Clear Wednesday morning in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 7 (IANS) It was a clear Wednesday morning with some mist early during the day. The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.5 degrees Celsius, a notches below the seasons's average, the Met said.

"The sky will remain clear towards the afternoon and evening," an India Meteorological Department official said.

The visibility at 8.30 a.m., stood at 1,200 metres, while the humidity was at 77 per cent.

At least 18 trains were cancelled and 16 delayed due to fog in some parts of northern India, according to the Northern Railway.

The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 22.7 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 22.7 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
