Large-scale arrangements made for Telangana CM ' KCR's ' Birthday

Necklace Road: Large-scale arrangements are being made in Jalvihar to celebrate the birthday of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on February 17, said Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav here on Thursday.

Speaking to press persons after visiting Jalvihar to inspect the arrangements, he disclosed that Deputy CM Mohd Mahmood Ali,  Ministers Narsimha Reddy, Padmarao Goud, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, MLC Mynampalli would be present at the cake-cutting ceremony.

Seva activities like a blood donation camp, a medical camp, distribution of tricycles to physically challenged, tools to sightless persons and saris to women, besides cultural programmes, were being organised to mark the day.

At the  blood donation camp doctors, headed by Dr Ravinder Goud of SD Hospital, of Gandhi, Osmania and NIMS, would be present.TRS general secretary Santosh Kumar would inaugurate the camp and the distribution tri-cyles.

He said an ‘ayush homam’ would be conducted in Sri Ujjaini Mahakali Temple from 9 am onwards. Nizamabad MP K Kavitha would be among the participants. At 10 am foundation for two-bedroom houses in Chacha Nehrunagar, of Bansilalpet division, would be laid.

The minister appealed to legislators, corporators, ruling party leaders/activists to participate in large numbers in the birthday celebrations.
