Seville (Spain)   :  Sevilla President Jose Castro on Monday urged his team to write a new page in the football club's history by qualifying for the quarterfinals for the first time in six decades in the upcoming Champions League clash against Manchester United.

Sevilla, coached by Vincenzo Montella, is to be hosted by Manchester United on Tuesday at Old Trafford stadium in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, after the first leg ended with a goalless draw, reports Efe.

"We're going to try and be brave in an iconic stadium and against a great opponent, we're excited as we can only be by the prospect of achieving something important, which is being in the quarter-finals after 60 years," Castro said before leaving to England.

Although Castro acknowledged that the knockout rounds are tough, saying that "all your opponents outweigh you in budget by many times," he emphasised that his team is looking to seize this opportunity and qualify for the Champions League quarterfinals.

"We're definitely going to play well because the team knows how important it is, it's been the implication of everything since Montella arrived," Castro added, according to the Spanish club's official website.

Sevilla is now in the fifth position in the La Liga table, while Manchester United holds the second place in the English Premier League (EPL) standings.
