Bhopal, May 8 (IANS) The Madhya Pradesh Congress on Tuesday claimed that a viral video clipping depicting Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as Ramayana character Angad had been prepared at the behest of Chouhan and other state BJP leaders and had hurt the religious feelings of people.

The clipping, that has since gone viral on the social media, depicts Chouhan as Angad, who put his feet firmly on ground in demon king Ravana's court and challeged anyone to move it, and Congress leaders like Kamal Nath, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Suresh Pachouri as courtiers who fail to come up to the challenge.

The Congress said that the clipping was made by people linked to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and intended to disturb communal harmony in the state.

The party said it had complained to the cyber cell of police and demanded action against the culprits.
