Seville  Sevilla coach Pablo Machin on Wednesday said he respects Hungarian club Ujpest, his team's opponent in the upcoming UEFA Europa League qualifier.

Sevilla is set to host Ujpest on Thursday in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the Europa League, where Machin will make his official debut as coach, reports Efe.

"If they're here it's because they deserve it," Machin said at a press conference on the eve of the clash.

He highlighted Ujpest's potential, saying "It's a very physical side. They have a lot of pace on the wings and a strong nine up-front."

Machin predicted that the Hungarian side will "defend close to their area" and depend on counterattacks, since Ujpest's players have speed, so Sevilla will have to "dominate" the game.

Regarding his first game at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, Machin said: "I'm really excited to play as the home team and hear the anthem. It's my debut, the first official game of the season. We have to have a good game and get the tie on track."

Sevilla is to visit Ujpest on August 2 for the second leg of the tie at Ferenc Szusza Stadium in Budapest.
