New Delhi, Sep 24 (IANS) Services on Delhi Metro's Magenta Line, which connects Noida to Janakpuri, were halted briefly at Kalindi Kunj station on Monday after a bird was spotted on the tracks.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) authorities called the Wildlife SOS, a non-profit NGO, for help which removed the struggling bird from the tracks.

The incident is not very surprising considering the location of the station, which is situated near the Yamuna River and just a few kms away from the Okhla Bird sanctuary.
