Countdown for GSAT-09 or South Asia Satellite launch on today

Srihari Kota:The countdown has been started for the launchSouth Asia Satellite or GSAT-9 by India will begin on Thursday afternoon,said Indian space agency.The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) is also getting ready for the maiden launch of its heaviest GSLV rocket by this month-end. “The countdown is expected to start tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon and the GSLV rocket with the satellite is expected to blast off from the second launch pad around 5.30 p.m. on Friday the 5 May,” said an official on the condition of anonymity.
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has completed its preparations to send the Satish Dhawan Space Center at Sriharikota, Sri Lanka, via the GSLV-F09 carrier.The pre-launch countdown process began on Thursday afternoon at 12.57.This will last for 28 hours continuously.Later on Friday evening at 4.57 pm, the rocket rushes into the blaze. The satellite weight is 2,000 kg and the GSLV is used. ISRO uses the first electric power system in GSAT-9.As a result, it is possible to reduce chemical fuel and increase the equipment.
