New York, May 15: The government has asked to do more for working women, and the main financial officer of Facebook (CFO) has requested US officials to increase the federal minimum wage for inequality and poverty for mothers. In the Facebook post, the Sheryl Sandberg said government and employers have to make an extra effort to help their parents, especially single mothers, who are struggling to raise their children. "Mothers and fathers have all the responsibilities of working and balancing their responsibilities," she said on Sunday Sunday. She added that it was time for country's public policies to catch up with what families deserve and what the values demand.

"To begin with, it is a long time to increase federal minimum wages. Two-thirds of the minimum wage workers are women, wage increases will reduce poverty disparities and help millions of families in poverty or near", Sandberg said. The 47-year-old executive said nearly 40 percent of all American families were based on working women. "Childcare for two children exceeds the median annual rent in all 50 states. How the parents will work if they don't have a safe and affordable place to leave their kids," she added.

Sandberg also called for more protections for mothers, fathers, gay and transgender parents as well as for adoptive parents who seek a leave of absence from their job. Sandberg is one of the nation's most wealthiest women, estimated at net worth of $ 1.38 billion.
