The leopard killed Forest Guard in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, May 19: A forest guard was killed in a forest near the Rajaji Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand. Police said on Friday. The forest guard, identified as Anand Singh, was on night patrol. He was apparently attacked by the feline when he was returning from duty to his residence. His family members were unable to reach his house on Friday morning and his family members raised the alarm.

The Forest Department's petrol parties began to add the area and his clothes and sandals seemed to be dipped in blood near a bridge and found to be closer to the damaged body. Senior forest officials, including director of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve, rushed to the scene and sent body for post mortem examination, an official said.
