Karthi Chidambaram in more trouble

Delhi: Former Union Minister P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram has come in more trouble. On Friday, the Enforcement Directorate registered a case of money laundering against Karti. Besides him, a leading industrialist, INX media director, Peter Mukherjee and his wife Indrani Mukherjee, have been named in the case. Karthi is currently facing trial in the CBI case. The INX Media for Indrani and Peter Mukherjee's allegations have been filed against the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB).

Chidambaram, who was then Finance Minister in 2007, cleared the media. Chidambaram and his son Karti are accused of having heavily bribed the CBI. On Tuesday, CBI officials conducted searches in Karthi houses and offices. In this Sadhana, worth over Rs 10 lakh was seized. Now Karthi Chidambaram moved to London.
