Don't be just Robots says president to students

Ooty: President Pranab Mukherjee today said, can not be as informative as the robots without students, but the country is proud of becoming personalities. Lawrence school in this picturesque hill station addressed students, and he told them that he would develop an education and build a person. "Without any spirit information does not require robots. We need people who are aware of their responsibilities towards society," he said in the occassion of school's 159th foundation day.

"It's not like giving information in a robotic manner, "he said, which could create a robot, but could not build a person's value for the country. Pranab Mukherjee, who has seen the color combination of students, said that a good school is the property of any society, country or state. "I believe that the future of the country is in safe hands," he said among the audience from praise.

He awarded the school's talented students and signed the visitor's book. Tamil Nadu governor C Vidyasagar Rao also attended. Lawrence School was founded in 1858 by Major General Sir Henry Lawrence to educate British soldiers orphans and children in India. After independence, the Government of India initiated school management.
