The most hard-working creatures on this earth are ants and bees. But they are dying because of our actions. As a result the environment is being damaged. Ants should not be allowed in the house. When they come into the house they build big colonies. If left unmanaged, they can damage the house foundation. The result is a risk of the house collapsing during the rainy season. The ants have already dug holes in the foundation of a large structure like the Taj Mahal.
The ants sniff out the smell that comes from the tiny amounts of food or any food material fallen on ground. They come out to take them. It is not good to kill ants that come that way. Ants are protecting our environment. If there were no ants on this earth most trees would not grow. Ants make their roots go well into the ground. So we have to follow the tips to send the ants out without killing them.
Baking Soda
If you have children or pets in the house, it is dangerous to use ant medicine. Because children are at risk of vomiting with that smell. So you can sprinkle baking soda where there are ants. Sprinkle baking soda around the dustbin to keep the rest of the house free of ants.
Cinnamon
We like the smell of cinnamon but ants don't like it at all. So if you put cinnamon powder near the holes from where the ants come. Or buy a bottle of cinnamon oil and add a few drops of it to water. Sprinkle the water from where the ants come, the ants will not come anymore. Also put cinnamon in the corners of windows and doors, ants and other insects will not come.
Vinegar
Vinegar also works well. It is considered suitable for repelling ants. Add a little vinegar to the water and spray the water on the ant mounds and colonies. The ants will leave immediately. It is better to spray on windows and doors too. If you have ants even after spraying, you need to spray more.
Borax
Borax is also known as sodium tetraborate. It is used for cleaning and repelling insects. You can find it in drugstores and some supermarkets. Add 2 tbsp of borax to lukewarm water, add a little sugar and mix. Sprinkle where there are worms, ants, they will go away. However, Borax kills ants. So if the above tips do not reduce ants, then it is better to use borax.
