Know how To Archive & Unarchive Posts On Instagram

Instagram, a popular photo-sharing social media app owned by meta, allows users to share their photos and videos with everyone. Did you know that you can hide or archive a shared post on Instagram with just one click? Deepika Padukone after popular Bollywood superstars Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif shared their wedding pictures has un-archived her wedding photos on her Instagram account. The photo-sharing platform allows users on Android and iOS to un-archive posts whenever they want.

How to Archive or Hide Instagram Posts
It should be noted that this feature of archiving Instagram posts only works on the Instagram mobile app.
Step 1: Open the Instagram mobile app and go to your profile.
Step 2: Click on the photo you want to archive.
Step 3: Select the three dots that will be displayed in the upper right corner of the post.
Step 4: Next select the archive option that appears in it.
Step 5: Now your photo will be archived and will not appear in your profile.

How to Unarchive or Unhide an Instagram Post
Step 1: Open the Instagram app on your mobile phone.
Step 2: Go to Profile menu.
Step 3: Click on the three-dot option displayed in the upper right corner of the post.
Step 4: Now click on the Unarchive option there.
Step 5: The photo will now appear on your profile again.

How to access archived chats on Instagram
Only archived posts will be un-archived. You can follow these steps to access hidden or archived photos.
Step 1: Go to your profile.
Step 2: Click on the three line option.
Step 3: Tap on Archive.
Step 4: Click on Archive of Posts / Stories at the top.
Step 5: Finally select Stories Archive, Post Archive or Live Archive.
