Mumbai Woman kills her Mother-in-law over dispute of Medical Expenses
Shanti Murgan, a 37-year-old woman killed her mother-in-law Antony Muthuswamy aged 61. Shanti was fed up with mother-in-law's medical expenses. In order to save money for her two daughters, the accused killed her mother-in-law.
The incident happened on December 13th when the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law were caught up in a heated argument over the expenses which turned into Murder. Shanti strangled Muthuswamy to death. The treatment would have cost around 3 lakh. The son of Muthuswamy worked as a cook and even Shanti took up odd jobs to make their ends meet.
