Steady Decline of Corona cases.. Improving Situation Worldwide
The situation seems to be improving worldwide. There is a steady decline in daily corona cases, which is definitely good news for the whole world. According to data from the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD), 8,515 people reported positive in the last 23 hours. Last Monday the number was 13,992.
According to the 'Daily Mail', the number of positive cases dropped by 40 per cent after the spread of Omicron. In addition, the number of patients coming to the hospital has also decreased. Only 323 people were hospitalised on Monday. However, the tests were also reduced. On Monday, 28,000 people were tested for corona, up from 45,000 last week. Because of this, there may be a difference in infection cases. But the good thing is that there has been a slight decrease in the test positive rate over the last week, indicating that the prevalence of the new variant of the corona is declining.
