An earthquake shook the capital Karnataka, Bangalore. The earthquake affected north and northeastern Bangalore. The magnitude of the quake was 3.3 on the Richter scale. This was revealed by the National Centre for Seismology.
The earthquake struck at 7.14am this morning. The epicentre was reported at 23 km below the Earth's surface. Crowds of people were evacuated from their homes after the quake. After the tremors stopped they entered the houses again.
