Police were shocked to find 500 high quality condoms in the home of a nurse who was brutally murdered. Investigators who examined her phone were shocked to learn the facts. Selvi (43) is a senior nurse at Andipatti Government Hospital in Theni district of Tamil Nadu. She is staying away from husband due to conflicts. The children also stay with her husband. Selvi was brutally murdered in her home in November last year. Police registered a case and searched her home for evidence and found 500 high quality condoms. However, the inquest found that she was having an extramarital affair with several people.

The inquest found that she had around 300 contact numbers on her phone and that she was in constant touch with 150 men and had sex with them. However, the authorities, who conducted a more in-depth investigation into the murder, came to suspect Ramachandra Prabhu, 34, of Kambam Government Hospital. The two have an extramarital affair as well as a financial relationship. However, Ramachandra Prabhu unexpectedly committed suicide the next day after being summoned to appear for trial. The forensic report later concluded that it was Ramachandra Prabhu who had killed Selvi along with other evidence. The investigation also revealed that some of those who were associated with her were policemen, doctors and auto drivers.
