DRDO: Successfully tested Pralay Missile from Balasore

Surface-to-surface Pralay missile. The Defence Ministry has successfully tested it from Balasore in Odisha. The Defence Research and Development Organisation of India (DRDO) sources said that the Pralay missile was tested by APJ Abdul Kalam Island around 10.30 am.

The missile was said to have successfully hit the targets. DR Devo has developed the Pralay ballistic missile based on the Prithvi Defence Vehicle. 'Pralay' missile is a 350-500 km short-range, surface-to-surface missile with a payload capacity of 500-1,000 kg.
