Sensational decision by farmer associations
Farmers who organised the biggest movement throughout the year made another sensational decision. Punjab is all set to contest 117 seats in the state in the Assembly elections.
US Kisan Morcha leaders Rajewal, who led the farmers' movement, and farmer leaders Harmeet Singh Khadian and Kulwant Singh Sandhu spoke to the media.
Balbir Singh Rajewal contested the elections under the name of Samyukta Samaj Morcha (SSM). It is said to be the demand of the people of the state.
