The Karnataka government has taken a crucial decision in the wake of the rising number of Omicron cases. Karnataka has announced a nationwide curfew for 10 days from December 28. The curfew will be in effect from 10 pm to 5 am, during which Section 144 will be in force, officials said.
He warned people to wear masks and take strict action if people come out during the night curfew. Hotels, pubs and restaurants are ordered to run at 50 per cent capacity. It is already known that the Karnataka government has banned New Year celebrations.
