Union Govt Banned firms Tupperware, Amyway and Oriflame from promoting Pyramid schemes
The Union government on Tuesday banned direct selling companies like Tupperware, Amway and Oriflame from promoting pyramid or money circulation schemes to protect consumers.
The union govt has notified new rules for the industry to be complied with within 90 days. As per the order companies should specify details of refund, exchange, guarantee and grievance redressal mechanism on their websites.
