Assures 300 units of Free Electricity if they win the Election

In Uttar Pradesh, the ruling party and the opposition are gearing up for victory in the elections. Samajwadi Party chief and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav are showering assurances on the people.

Akhilesh Yadav has promised to provide 300 units of free household electricity if he wins the elections. Akhilesh, who took part in an election rally in Lucknow yesterday, promised to provide free electricity to up to 300 units of households as well as free electricity to farmers if they win. They will include this topic in their election manifesto.

The Aam Aadmi Party, led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has also recently promised free electricity in Goa. Kejriwal will tour Lucknow today. On this occasion it was felt that there was a possibility of giving such assurance to the people of the State as well. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav's statement made prominence.
