A fatal accident in Madhya Pradesh.. 3 killed, 28 injured.. Driver on the run

A bus accident took place in Madhya Pradesh. The speeding bus carrying passengers fell into a river. Three people were killed and 28 people were injured in the incident. The accident took place on the Khandwa Baroda road in Alirajpur district on Sunday morning.

The injured were rushed to the district hospital. Upon receiving information regarding the incident, the District SP and the District Collector rushed to the spot. The bus is going from Bhuj in Gujarat to Barwani.

Out of 28 injured 7 are children. The condition of one of them is critical. Doctors referred him to an indoor hospital for better treatment. The bus fell into a river 15 feet below the culvert railing, officials said. The bus driver is reported to have been on the run since the accident. The SP said the registration of the bus would be checked and strict action would be taken against the driver.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed deep regrets over the incident, assured to provide financial assistance.
