Schools closed until January 10 in the wake of Omicron variant
The current pandemic virus Omicron has spread to more than 90 countries. Omicron was first found in South Africa. India has already registered more than 1500 cases of Omicron across the country.
The Tamil Nadu state government took a crucial decision in this view. With the growing Omicron cases, physical classes are stopped for students in grades 1 to 8 until January 10th. The Tamil Nadu state government on Friday issued a notice regarding this. According to the statement, there will be no physical education classes for students from Class 1 to Class 8 in the state of Tamil Nadu till January 10. UKG and LKG classes are no longer allowed even online.
