The meteorological department said that there will be dry weather in Telangana for the next four days. While the cold intensity is increasing in central and northern India, the Department of Meteorology said that the impact may not be on Telangana.
The weather in Telangana will be dry due to winds blowing from the east and southeast. Authorities, meanwhile, have issued cold wave warnings for northeastern Sikkim and Darjeeling, including Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.
The officials said that there will be no cold in Telangana from Monday to Wednesday. The cold intensity will increase from the second week of January. Temperatures in major cities across Telangana on Sunday recorded a low of 14 degrees Celsius, a high of 28 degrees Celsius, a low of 15 degrees Celsius in Karimnagar, a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 14 degrees Celsius in Adilabad. The lowest temperature recorded in Sirpur was 11.5 degrees Celsius.
