87 medical students of a medical college test positive for Coronavirus

Corona infected 87 medical students working at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) in Patna, Bihar. Patna District Medical Officer Chandrasekhar Singh said the doctors with corona infection had low symptoms and were all on campus isolation at the hospital. Many doctors participated in the recent Indian Medical Association event in Patna. This includes doctors from Nalanda Medical College.

In Bihar, 352 fresh Kovid-19 cases have been reported, according to the state health department. Of these, 87 were medical students. The number of new cases registered was 71 more than the day before. Bihar recorded 281 and 158 new cases respectively on Saturday and Friday.

In the last 24 hours, 33,750 new cases were registered in the country. This brings the number of corona victims in the country to 3,49,22,882. There are currently 1,45,582 active cases in the country.
