Snowfall in Jammu & Kashmir
The Indian Meteorological Department said that extreme moderate rain / snowfall is expected in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Light showers / snowfall will begin in some parts of Kashmir from the evening of January 3 and intensity & distribution will increase.
IMD has announced this yesterday. In January 3rd week there is expected to be a cold wave. Except for northern states all other states are experiencing dry winters currently.
