Supreme Court approves NEET-PG admissions
The year 2021-22 has paved the way for neet-PG admissions. The Supreme Court on Friday granted permission to conduct NEET-PG counseling under the old reservation. In July last year, the Center issued a notification to implement the OBC and EWS quota in PG medical education admissions.
Many have challenged this and approached the Supreme Court. In this context the tribunal clarified to the Government that counseling should be conducted in accordance with the existing reservations. The court upheld 27 per cent reservation for OBCs and 10 per cent for EWSs.
