Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that work-from-home facilities will be made available to the disabled and pregnant women in particular.  The Central Government has directed the people to come to the offices as soon as the Containment Zone is completely abolished and impose work-from-home facilities from now on.

According to the Ministry of Health, 1.59 lakh new cases were reported across the country today. The number of active cases has crossed 5.90 lakh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a review meeting in view of the rising corona cases.

The Prime Minister urged the authorities to keep everyone vigilant as part of the corona rising across the country. The Prime Minister said that the fight against the epidemic was not over yet. As part of this, the Prime Minister suggested that the necessary medicines and oxygen be made available. On the other hand, 100 percent want to complete a two-dose vaccination.

According to the Union Ministry of Health, 3,623 new cases of Omicron variant have been reported so far from 27 states and union territories in India. So far 1,409 patients infected with the new variant Omicron have been cured. Maharashtra and Delhi have the highest number of Omicron cases. There are 1009 Omicron variant cases in Maharashtra. There are 513 cases in Delhi.

According to the Union Ministry of Health, there are 51,384 active cases in West Bengal. West Bengal is second only to Maharashtra with 1,45,198 active patients. The level of the third wave corona running in the country reaches 8 lakh cases in a single day. An estimated 4 to 8 lakh cases are reported daily in the country.
