Patna, July 6 (IANS): Presidential nominee Meira Kumar, who is from the side of the Congress-led opposition will arrive here on Thursday evening on a three-day visit to Bihar to seek support for her candidature.

Meira Kumar will meet Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) legislators from her native village Chandwa in Bhojpur district on Friday.

"Meira Kumar will also meet RJD chief Lalu Prasad, who described her as 'Bihar ki beti' after she was made the opposition' candidate," Congress legislator Shakil Ahmad Khan said.

Lalu Prasad will also be present during her meeting with his party legislators, some RJD sources.

However, over the support for the former Lok Sabha Speaker, Bihar's ruling Grand Allliance of Janata Dal-United (JD-U), RJD and the Congress are divided as Bihar Chief Minister and JD-U President Nitish Kumar has already announced his party's support to BJP-led NDA's presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind.
