Fadnavis again escapes helicopter accident
Raigad (Maharashtra), July 7 (IANS): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis escaped a potential accident when his helicopter suddenly took off while he was boarding it at a helipad in Alibaug here on Friday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports the officials said that as Fadnavis was preparing to board the chopper, it suddenly took off and its rotating wings came very close to his head.
However, an alert security personnel lunged forward and helped the Chief Minister escape injury from the chopper's blades, a district official told media persons a short while ago.
