Progress and Integrity: Development in Maharashtra Under Devendra Fadnavis

During the reign of Devendra Fadnavis in Maharashtra, the state witnessed a period of development achievements and almost no scams. The Chief Minister and now Deputy Chief Minister has brought to the state some much-needed infrastructure projects – Metro, Coastal Road, Samriddhi Highway, etc.

Other than the initial success of his government, his government had begun programs like Shetale and Jalyukta Shiwar, which saw improvements in many areas of industry, education, foreign investment, to irrigation. This he managed to do by offering government hostels to backward classes, increasing scholarships for higher education abroad, and offering housing schemes to nomadic tribes and backward classes. Also, financial development companies have been set up to help the various communities of the Lingayat, Gurav, Ramoshi, Wadar, Brahmin, and Rajputs in developing jobs, education, and industry in these communities.
