New Delhi, Sep 19 : To ramp up its presence in the market during the festive season, Panasonic India on Tuesday launched two smartphones -- Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700 -- in the country.
Eluga Ray 500 is the company's first dual-camera phone while Eluga Ray 700 is a selfie-centric smartphone.
Eluga Ray 500 has been introduced at Rs 8,999 and Eluga Ray 700 would cost Rs 9,999.
"Both the smartphones would retail exclusively on Flipkart, starting September 20 when 'Big Billion Day' sales begin on the e-commerce site," Pankaj Rana, Business Head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India, told reporters here.
Eluga Ray 500 features 5-inch HD IPS display with 2.5D curved design. The dual-camera comes with 13MP + 8MP sensors. It is powered by 1.25 GHz Quad-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. A 4000mAh battery powers the device.
Meanwhile, Eluga Ray 700 has 5.5 inch Full-HD IPS 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It features 13MP Sony IMX 258 rear camera lens with Phase Detection Auto focus (PDAF) and 13MP selfie camera with flash. The device comes with 5000mAh battery with quick charging feature.
The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa -core processor and 3GB RAM.
Both the devices are packed with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which can be further expandabed up to 128GB via Micro SD card slot.
The phones run Android 7.0 Nougat OS and provide connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Eluga Ray 500 and Ray 700 would retail in champagne gold, mocha gold and marine blue colours.
