Nancy teenager Cuisance joins Monchengladbach

Paris, May 9 : Promising midfielder Mickael Cuisance on Tuesday joined German football club Borussia Moenchengladbach from French Ligue 1 club Nancy on a long term contract.

The 17-year-old Cuisance, who plays in Nancy's under-19 squad, will see his spell in the German club until 2022, reports Xinhua news agency.

"Cuisance is a huge talent who is very versatile in midfield. We've been watching him for a long time now. The market for top talents in Europe is highly competitive. So we are all the more pleased that he will be adding to the work we are doing and that we have signed such a promising player who will be taking the next steps in his development here," Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl said in a statement.

According to Eberl, the French under-18 international targeted a step forward in his career development.
