Mogadishu, May 17: A car loaded with explosives in the attack on the Mogadishu capital of Somalia Wednesday took place in a fresh attack with suspected al-Shabab terrorists. According to police, the huge explosion occurred at Wadajir district.
Witnesses said the vehicle blew up soon after it was stopped and seized by the police at the checkpoint. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Al-Shabab militant group government and Somalia's African Union Mission (AMISOM) have conducted frequent deadly targets.
