Haryana monsoon session to resume on Nov 5
National | IANS | Published :Chandigarh, Oct 20 (IANS) Haryana Vidhan Sabha's monsoon session will resume from November 5, Speaker Gian Chand Gupta said here on Tuesday.
The monsoon session began on August 26 but was adjourned indefinitely after Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Speaker Gupta and a large number of MLAs tested coronavirus positive.
Gupta said that since the infection risk had started to reduce, the session would recommence from November 5.
A Press Gallery will be set up at the Haryana Niwas in Sector 3 here to enable media coverage of the session.
Special arrangements will be made to maintain social distancing in the House during the session.
For this, both auditoriums of Haryana Niwas will be booked and declared Vidhan Sabha premises till the session is on, Gupta added.
