Venkaiah reminds �backstabbing� memories

Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Friday mentioned 1984 backstabbing incident in his address at the inauguration of government hospital building in Nellore.  He asked the people behind him on the dais to vacate the place and said that, people behind NTR backstabbed him in 1984, since then I have my own doubts about the people behind me, he said and added that he will feel free if nobody is there on his back.

The Union Minister, who usually crafts his words very carefully, took every care no to directly hit or hurt Chandrababu Naidu. He linked his apprehensions to 1984 incident where Nadendla Bhaskara Rao dethroned NTR, but 2004 incident where Chandrababu Naidu allegedly backstabbed and dethroned NTR.

However, Venkaiah comments has created ripples in political circles particularly in TDP as backstabbing is usually used by Chandrababu Naidu opponents to hit him, in fact he was personified with the word ‘backstabbing’ or backstabber’. 

Did it mean anything to changing relations between BJP and TDP?  In fact from the same dais Venkaiah Naidu said that BJP wants to expand its wings to other States where it is not so strong.
