Andhra Pradesh Cabinet expansion has been a huge topic of discussion for the past few days. With many panning Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for allotting Ministerial berths to the defected YSR Congress MLAs, the state BJP leader and former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari too has come forward slamming the CM.

Faulting Chandrababu on the decision, Purandeswari informed to the media on Wednesday that she has written letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah regarding the issue questioning the move of offering Minister posts to defected YSRCP MLAs which in turn violated the anti-defection law. Stressing on the need for stronger anti-defection laws to prevent elected representatives from migrating to different political parties, the BJP leader criticized the Chief Minister for mocking the democracy.
