Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials to take steps towards achieving 100 per cent cooking gas connections supply by June 2. Participating in a review meeting with officials of civil supplies department at the Interim Secretariat at Velagapudi here on Tuesday, he asked the officials to prevent kerosene in domestic consumption.
Pointing out that the States like Haryana, Punjab and Delhi were providing cooking gas to all the families, he said AP would be the biggest State in the country in extending such facility. On this occasion, the officials explained that 1.57 lakh gas connections should be secured at a cost of Rs 45 crore for exclusively providing a 5-kg cylinder for each tribal family in the State.
Integrated health record system: Chief Minister N Chandrababu asked the officials to introduce integrated health record system in all the government hospitals across the State.
He said the sugar supply should be continued without any price changes for this month in the State even as the Centre withdrew the subsidy. The Centre had withdrawn subsidy of Rs 20 per each kg of sugar.
