5 Of family died on the spot in a road accident

Chittoor: Tragic incident took place in Chittoor district, Five of a family heading to Kadapa from Chennai killed in road accident after the car they were traveling in rammed into a lorry late on Saturday.The mishap occurred at Mamanduru village on Renigunta - Kadapa road. According to police, the family were returning to their home in CK Dimma of Kadapa district from Chennai airport after picking up their family member Gangadaram who landed at the airport from Kuwait.
The deceased, identified as Gangadaram (35), Vijayamma (30), Prasanna (32), Mariyamma (25) and Prasanna (1) died on the spot.The police registered a case and are investigating.
