International flight services from Vijayawada Airport will start today

Vijayawada: International flight services will begin from Vijayawada Airport (Gannavaram) on Tuesday. The first flight will go to Singapore today under the auspices of Indigo. The flight will reach Gannavaram from Singapore at 3.45 pm. Vice-President Venkiah and Union Minister Suresh Prabhu will welcome passengers on this occasion. Those who go to Singapore will issue boarding passes through the Vice President and Union Minister. The flight arrives in Vijayawada Airport at 3.45 pm and will depart at 6.40 pm every Tuesday and Thursday.  Vice-President and Union Minister Suresh Babu will lay the foundation stone for Integrated Terminal Building, which will be constructed with Rs 611 crore. MPs Konakalla, Kesineni and some MLAs will participate in this program.
