7 Year-old girl raped in Guntur district

Gruntur: A 30- years old youth alleged raped a 7-year old girl at Trumakota village under Rentachintala mandal of Guntur district on Tuesday night which came to light today.When the  relatives of the victim protested on Wednesday, this matter came to light.  

According to police, Miriyala Jaya Rao who was inebriated condition, allegedly raped a minor girl who was going to attend nature call  on Tuesday night. When the victim screamed for help, the accused absconded.

The relatives of the minor girl staged a protest at Palvai Junction at Macherla demanding to do justice to the victim.. When they staged dharna for two hours vehicles stranded  on the Macherla highway.  Police swung into action and tried to stop their protest.  The family members and victims of the family continued their protest.
